Commenting on the announcement, Peter Davidson, Executive Director of the TSA, said: “The Tank Storage Association supports the introduction of E10 petrol, a positive step towards meeting the UK’s ambitious targets to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to net zero by 2050. The TSA has been clear that the bulk liquid storage will have a key role to play in the energy transition and in creating the necessary infrastructure flexibility to manage change in support of the UK’s net-zero goals. As essential partners in the transition, we will continue working collaboratively with the government, Zemo Partnership and all industry partners to lead on the innovations needed to succeed.”
