Dangote Oil Refinery Co. had sent batches of graduates to the Bharat Refinery in India for training in refinery operation and production.
The trainee engineers, who spent two months in classroom training and three months in on the job training, gathered fundamental practical knowledge about the refinery.
Engineers commented on the quality of the training, explaining that they had been part of troubleshooting exercises and had developed an ability to implement and realise specific goals within a timeframe. The graduate engineers also listed as part of the benefits efficient refinery operations and adherence to quality and standards.
