PGNiG to receive 50th LNG cargo

The total LNG volume purchased so far by PGNiG will amount to approximately 5.7 billion m³ after regasification.

The carrier, Iberica Knutsen, is transporting approximately 57 000 t of LNG from the Sabine Pass terminal in the US. It equals about 75 million m³ of natural gas following regasification – which is the amount Poland consumes in four days in summer or one day in winter. The cargo was purchased as part of a spot transaction from Naturgy (formerly Gas Natural Fenosa).
