The decision was made on the basis of hte’s track record in offering fully-automated workflow solutions that include advanced software and analytics combined with the company's expertise in complying with stringent Japanese high-pressure laws. The technology solution supplied to AIST is enhanced by the in-depth knowledge that hte has gained over the years through contract research in related projects, a service that is core to the company's activity along with the provision of technology solutions.

For AIST, the unit will be an invaluable tool to develop catalytic processes for a wide range of chemical processes with a particular focus on CO2 utilisation.

Wolfram Stichert, CEO at hte, commented: “We are thrilled about the trust placed in hte by a reputed research institute such as AIST to supply a unit aiming to enhance their research in the field of sustainable chemistry. We take great pride in implementing this state-of-the-art technology in Japan, a region where we have been present for more than a decade.”
